DataWind awarded for 'Educational Institutions Award'

DataWind has been honored for the most affordable tablets for 'Educational Institutions Award' at the Digital Edge ICT Conclave on Education for its high technology economical tablet range. The award was received by Harshdeep Kohli, Vice President, Call Center Operations India Region, Datawind Ltd. on behalf of DataWind.

Present on the occasion at Digital Edge ICT Conclave were Neeta Verma, Deputy Director General and Head, Data Centre and Web Service, NIC, DieTY, GOI, Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma, MD, NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology), DieTY, GOI; and Prof. Rajaram Sharma Joint Director, CIET (Central Institute of Education Technology), NCERT.

Speaking on receiving the award, DataWind's CEO, Suneet Singh Tuli said, "We are delighted on receiving this prominent award. With our technology driven cost effective educational Tablets devices, we endeavor to upgrade the educational system of our country and make it more technology-driven and education friendly."

As scores of participants representing various schools, colleges and universities converged at the event, the function was a great platform for DataWind to connect with all the participants and communicate its ideas for improving the education system of India.
