Chelsea star David Luiz has reportedly agreed to a 32 million-pound switch to Barcelona and would join the Spanish giants after the World Cup is over.
With Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa being Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho's main target as he focuses on changing his forward line, the Portuguese aims to keep a balanced book and the Brazilian defender is set to be the first big name to depart from Stamford Bridge.
According to the Daily Star, Luiz has agreed to join Barca on a five-year-contract but an official announcement of the deal would be made after the World Cup this summer in Brazil.
Barca's previous attempts to lure Luiz to Spain have reportedly proved fruitful as the defender's move to the La Liga giants will end his three-year stay at Chelsea and the Spanish club would finally get their man.
With Mourinho's return to Chelsea, Luiz has struggled to hold down a regular place this season as the Portuguese preferred John Terry and Gary Cahill as the centre-back pairing, the report added.
