The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) summoned the Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Jatin Narwal on a complaint of the Law Faculty Teacher's Association regarding lodging of an FIR against Satender Awana former president of DUSU and current president Amit Tanwa and others.
The DCW said it was not satisfied with DCP narwal's reply which is termed as insufficient and evasive.
It said prima-facie, serious cognizable offences are clearly made out against the above-mentioned persons and erring police officers are duty bound to register cases under relevant sections of the law.
The DCW said, the Delhi Police has failed to register an FIR on the said complaint till date despite the passage of considerable time.
