The death toll from the deadly 7.7 magnitude earthquake has reached 248 in Pakistan after the quake jolted the country on Monday.

According to the Dawn, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said at least 1,665 are injured across Pakistan.

Rescuers are providing relief aid to victims of the earthquake.

NDMA Chairman Major General Asghar Nawaz said that the threat of landslides still loomed over the mountainous areas due to large-scale movement of glaciers and rock formations.
