Delhi fog: Several trains, flights affected due to low visibility

As the dense fog continues to engulf northern India given the fall in temperature, several trains and flight services have been affected on Sunday morning.

Around 26 trains were delayed and nine have been rescheduled on due to poor visibility.

Flight services at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were also affected, resulting in the delay of at least five international and three domestic flights.

The morning in the capital was also chilly, as temperature fell down to 11° C.

The meteorological department has predicted that the nation will witness an above normal winter this season while northern areas of India will likely have less of cold wave spells.
