A suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative, Ejaz Sheikh, was arrested on Friday from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh by the Delhi Police Special Cell.
Sheikh was wanted in a number of cases, including the 2010 terror strike at Jama Masjid in New Delhi. According to reports, he was also a major Indian Mujahideen operative.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police had earlier this year also arrested Indian Mujahideen's India Commander Tehseen Akhtar, accused of several terror blasts including the one in a rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Patna.
