Along with creating a buzz on social media with its trailer, 'M.S. Dhoni
While the makers have spent Rs. 80 crores on production of the film, it has already garnered 60 crores by earning 45 crores for its satellites rights and 15 crores from all brands that have been involved with the film.
Apart from 15 crores, the brands associated with the film would be spending more on advertising and promotions as well.
A cricket film of this scale of a living cricket legend has never been attempted before.
Being a biopic, the movie reveals some lesser known as well as unknown facts about the 35-year-old ace cricketer.
To make it as realistic as possible, the movie has been shot at real locations which have strong relevance in Dhoni's life including his house in Ranchi, in his school, at Kharagpur station where Dhoni was stationed as the TT.
Along with its trailer, the two songs of the movie, 'Besabriyaan' and 'Kaun Tujhe' are also receiving an overwhelming response from the audience.
Helmed by director Neeraj Pandey, the film is all set to release on September 30.
