World number one Novak Djokovic has vowed to continue his uphill struggle and maintain standards despite clinching his record-equalling sixth Australian Open title.
The Serbian claimed a 6-1, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) win over Andy Murray in a thrilling summit clash to grab his 11th Grand Slam title and handed the Briton his fifth final defeat at Melbourne Park.
Talking about his performance, the 28-year-old admitted that he had played the best tennis of his career in the last 15 months, insisting that it could easily be visible by his results, News.com.au reported.
Djokovic revealed he prepares himself the best against his three biggest rivals namely Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray.
He believes that the experience of playing against these three players on big stage had helped him a lot in reaching to a highest level of his career.
With the win, Djokovic has also matched tennis greats Bjorn Borg and Rod Laver's tally of 11 majors.
