DMK women's wing leader Karl Marx arrested in defamation case

Chennai Police on Saturday arrested Karl Marx, the leader of the women's wing of the opposition Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Party (DMK) party,in connection with a defamation case related to the abusing of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and her government at a party meeting.
Marx has also been charged with attempting to instigate violence.
Marx had during a DMK meeting at the party headquarters in Chennai on May 15 abused Jayalalithaa and also threatened to become a 'human bomb'.
