Drew Barrymore has finally joined micro-blogging site Twitter on August 20.
Tweeting for the first time, the 'Never Been Kissed' star said that though she was late to the "party", she was happy to have joined the site, Us Magazine reported.
The 38-year-old actress said that the 140 character limit would be able to keep her from rambling.
Barrymore had earlier claimed that she was an "old-fashioned girl" and wasn't interested in joining the social networking site as it was not for her.
She already had more than 6,000 followers, within just a few hours of joining Twitter.
