Eddie Murphy is set to reprise his role as Axel Foley in the new 'Beverly Hills Cop' movie after almost 20 years.
According to showbiz news website Deadline, 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' fame Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec have been hired to write the script for the Paramount Pictures film, Sky News reported.
The film company's interest in reviving the franchise is believed to have been sparked by the pilot episode for a spin-off TV series, which featured Brandon T Jackson as Foley's son.
