Eight people injured after communal clashes break out in Kashmir

Eight people were injured after communal clashes broke out in between two groups Phoond village of Kathua on Monday after rumors of cow slaughter spread in the area.

The two groups resorted to stone pelting and many shops were set ablaze.

The DC and DIG have reached the spot where the lashed broke out and section 144 has been imposed in the area. An Army has also been called in.
