Emma Watson believes she is ready to "carry films" and is excited to play lead in her new movies.
The 24-year-old 'Harry Potter' star, who recently completed filming on 1970s-based thriller 'Colonia', based on a woman who gets drawn into the cult settlement Colonia Dignidad in an attempt to find her abducted boyfriend, said that she had been playing supporting actress in her career, but ws ready to go full time now, the Mirror reported.
The UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, who has starred in films like 'The Bling Ring' and 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower,' said that it felt like she was building a portfolio over the last five, six years.
Watson, who's also been cast as Belle in Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast, said that working in 'Colonia' was "emotionally tough" and "grueling," but she hopes she has done it right for people who really lived it and experienced it.
