A former Playmate has revealed that she had 11 orgasms in one day - thanks to orgasmic meditation, sparking renewed interest in the intimate practice.
Karen Lorre, who graced the cover of Playboy in March 1982, told Medical Daily she discovered the "OM" method after years of traditional meditation, the New York Daily News reported.
The sexual practice involves a man stroking a woman's clitoris for fifteen minutes.
While orgasms happen, they're not the goal, Nicole Daedone said, founder of OneTaste, one of the most well-known orgasmic mediation centers in the country, which has a location in NYC.
OneTaste has been teaching the OM method at conferences and in group classes since 2004.
Daedone, who points out that one in ten women report never reaching orgasm, said that the practice helps women get in touch with their sexual selves for when they do have sex with a partner.
