Former 'The Voice' contestant Anthony Riley was found dead in the basement of the apartment on Friday, and his friends claim that all signs point towards a suicide.
The 28-year-old talented Philadelphia street performer, who competed on the show in 2015, had won hearts right from the start of the show when all 4 judges had hit their buttons as soon as his performance of James Brown's 'I Feel Good' had ended, reported TMZ.com.
However, he had later left the show in January to deal with substance abuse issues.
The show's host Carson Daly shared a message calling it a "heartbreaking loss," adding that she was "praying for the family and friends of Anthony Riley today. He was incredibly talented and loved to sing. God Bless him.
