Earlier in the day, two incidents of ceasefire violation were reported. An army jawan was injured in an unprovoked firing from Pakistan in Tangdhar sector of the district.
The Pakistani forces also engaged in another ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kamalkote village in Baramulla district's Uri.
