Australian cricketer Chris Rogers has said that he will relish facing an English strike force consisting of tall and strong fast bowlers during the winter Ashes series in Australia.
England quicks Stuart Broad and Steven Finn are joined by the recalled Chris Tremlett and the uncapped Boyd Rankin and Ben Stokes, all over 185cm and capable of bowling in excess of 145km/h.
According to News.com.au, Rogers said that he is ready to be peppered with extreme pace and bounce from England with the help of his knowledge of the bouncy Western Australia Cricket Australia (WACA) pitch and the fact that he grew up with the likes of former 'tall Australian timbers' Jo Angel and Brendon Julian bowling to him.
Rogers further said that England bowlers would be facing a challenge on the bouncy pitches as they will have to hit the right lengths straight away.
