In a bid to be people's tech news hub, Facebook has reportedly launched a new page that will surface only tech news on the users' timelines.
Just like FB Newswire, it will verify and gather the best content of the day in a manner that will make the conversation surrounding the news accessible to its audience. In that way, the new page is very similar to its forebear, only with a narrower focus, reported The Verge.
It is another tool for journalists to expose the highest quality work of those working in the tech community, the report said.
However, the challenge would be to convince tech journalists to post their stories on Facebook instead of Twitter.
