Tamil superstar Rajnikanth's 64th birthday is being celebrated in grand way by his fans as the occasion also coincides with the release of his movie 'Lingaa'.
Fans thronged theatres to catch the first show of 'Lingaa' and cut cakes to celebrate the birthday of the superstar. Fans were also spotted pouring milk on actor's cut-outs to wish for his long life.
Rajnikanth fans in the IT hub of Bangalore took out a huge rally to commemorate the day as more than 50 cars and 200 two wheelers took part in the rally.
One of his fans said, "Today the film of my god is releasing and we have organized a big rally. 50 cars and 200 two wheelers will be participating in the rally. From here, we will go to Multiplex theatre where we will be offering milk to Rajnikanth and we will catch the morning show of his film. Then again we leave for Natraja Theatre, Balaji Theatre and Lavanya Theatre and there also we will offer milk to Rajnikanth. 400 litres of milk is being offered and clothes will be distributed to poor people."
'Lingaa' is a Tamil action thriller, which will see the actor playing a double role, and has been paired opposite Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha.
