FC Goa opened their 2015 Indian Super League (ISL) campaign with a convincing 2-0 win over touring Delhi Dynamos at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Sunday.

An own goal by Souvik Chakrabarti put the hosts ahead in the third minute before Reinaldo doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time.

Although the introduction of Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos lifted Dynamos performance in the second half, Goa swiftly launched counterattacks to subdue the tourists' late surge.

With the win, Goa are first in the league standings and will next face defending champions Atletico de Kolkata in another home match on October 7.
