A fire broke out at the Doordarshan Bhawan here on Thursday. No casualties were reported in the fire.
After receiving a call at 12:50 pm, eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire broke out in the AC plant of the building.
"The fire was controlled within 10 minutes. Eight fire tenders are present on the spot. There was some construction work going on. No casualty has been reported," said Sanjay Tomar, Divisional Fire Officer, Delhi Fire Service.
In a similar incident, at least four people were dead including a woman and 16 injured when a level-III fire broke out at a residential building in Mumbai's Parel area on Wednesday morning.
