Five distinctive types of flirts revealed!

Jeff Hall, the author of 'The Five Flirting Styles' claims that to be a successful flirt, one must know what type of flirt one is, and how to make that work.

According to the new book 'The Five Flirting Styles', there are five distinctive type of flirts, namely 'Physical flirts, Polite flirts, Traditional flirts, Sincere flirts and Playful flirts', the New York Post reported.

Physical flirts show interest through physicality and non-verbal behaviors and have no problem reaching out and touching someone playfully, and though their relationships tend to be intense, they are often short-lived.

Polite flirts convey their attraction by showing respect and have long-enduring relationships based on companionship and friendship.

The category of Traditional flirts is based on the idea of gender roles which allows men to be the pursuers and women are expected to be passive and yielding, more like 'damsels in distress'.

Sincere flirts employ the technique of self-disclosure though conversation and believe that talking about intellectual ideas is sexy.

Playful flirts enjoy playing games, teasing people and view flirting as being about the gamesmanship and love the self-esteem boost. They are great with people they're not going to see for a prolonged period and are able to enjoy the early stages of relationships without getting too attached.
