Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff will reportedly return to cricket with county club Lancashire in next week's T20 Blast clash against Yorkshire.
Flintoff, who had been suffering from an ankle injury this month but is now set to be given the green signal to play, has been pencilled in to take his place in the Lancashire side as long as he comes through a second team fixture on Thursday, the Guardian reported.
Flintoff, who would be playing his first match since retiring with a serious knee injury in 2010, would reportedly return at the same time as his former England teammate Kevin Pietersen, who would be playing for Surrey in his first match of the season.
