Heavyweight boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has announced that he would be coming back post retirement to fight Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.
Declaring the same on his official twitter handle, Mayweather stated that "another 9 figure day pay" is on the way.
"I'm coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year. Another 9 figure pay day on the way @mayweatherpromotions," he wrote.
In 2015, the American professional boxer had defeated Pacquiao in a much-hyped clash.
Mayweather competed from 1996 to 2007 and 2009 to 2015 and made a one-fight comeback in 2017.
During his career, he held multiple world titles in five weight classes and has an undefeated record of 50-0, the second highest undefeated streak, after Ricardo Lopez, in the modern era of boxing.
