Retired England football legend David Beckham tricked partygoers at a Halloween masquerade ball by turning up as himself, according to reports.
According to the Daily Star, Beckham forgot to dress up for the Halloween Hangover party at the Bowery Hotel in New York, so claimed he had come as 'David Beckham'
A source said that Beckham was practically the only person at the party not in costume, and because of this barely anyone recognized him.
Somebody asked him what his costume was and he said he was going as David Beckham with the person replying that he looked just like him.
New York nightlife nobility, such as Jeffrey Jah and Matt Levine, hosted the fashionable Halloween party, the report said.
Beckham is currently trying to launch his own football club in Miami, Florida, but says he has no plans on moving to back to the US, the report added.
