Slumdog Millionaire co-stars Freida Pinto and Dev Patel have called it quits after dating for almost 6 years.
According to the sources, the pair, who had met on the set of the Oscar-winning movie in 2008, has been separated for a while, and Pinot, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday without Patel, 24, is happy being single, Us magazine reported.
'The Immortals' actress was seen on her birthday with billionaire Siddharth Mallya.
The couple had considered themselves to be "soul mates" during happier times, and Patel had said before they even started dating, that they "were soul mates as they both were in this surreal situation."
The pair had been so crazy about each other that they refused to celebrate Valentine's Day because for them "every day should be a celebration of love.
