French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius, on Monday met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and discussed issues of mutual interest with him.
Earlier, Laurent Fabius met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Later, Fabius told media that he was confident about the outcome of the talks with Sushma to sell 126 Rafale fighter jets to India.
Laurent will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is likely to make a pitch for speeding up the Rafale aircraft deal, according to reports.
