France's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Laurent Fabius will visit India on November 20 and 21 ahead of the Paris climate summit, which will be held from November 30 to December 11.
During the visit, the French Minister will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar and hold deliberations on the preparations ahead of the Paris climate summit.
Fabius will be accompanied by ambassador for climate change negotiations Laurence Tubiana.
He is also likely to discuss the launch of international solar alliance proposed by India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with several other heads of states will take part in the Paris climate summit later this month.
