From B-Town's King Khan to Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra to Madhuri Dixit-Nene, everyone overwhelmed with her achievement, took to social media to express their regards for the 21-year-old badminton player.

"Sakshi..Sindhu.. Dono ko Salaam!," tweeted Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood Mr. Perfectionist in a post wrote, "Way to go Sindhu! Congratulations! You have made India proud!!! All the very best for the finals. Love.a."

Proclaiming the girl power, Global icon Priyanka Chopra tweeted, "#PVSindhu & #AditiAshok were amazing at the Rio Olympics . Congratulations and yaaay - #GoINDIA #GirlPower."

Congratulating the young achiever, Madhuri Dixit-Nene said, "Another medal assured #Rio2016. Congrats #PVSindhu ...Go for gold Madhuri Dixit-Nene."

In another tweet, SS Rajamouli said, "PV SINDHU!!!! What aggression...The way she dominated her opponant is something we longed to see in indian sports. You made india proud."

"#PVsindhu ....more power to girl power!!!! #Rio2016," added Karan Johar.

Acting doyen Paresh Rawal, hailed the Sindhu in his qown razzing way and wrote, "After watching #PVSindhu 's badminton match, I started watching this wrestling match...which later turned out be Arnab's Newshour."

Gauhar Khan expressing regret over not being able to witness the game, wrote, "Sooooo proud... Of #PVSindhu I have followed all her matches, missed the most important one. But soooooo proud..#"

While most of the B-town celebrities and television actors congratulated the young achiever, some also associated their wishes with Shodha De's earlier comment and condemned her.

The writer in a controversial comment, couple of days back said, "Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity."

Taking troll on her, music composer Vishal Dadlani in a shooting reply said, "We're giving Ms. De too much importance. #Sakshi, #PVSindhu have already replied, far better than we can. Talk about winners, not losers!"

In a veiled but apparent attack on De, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "#PVSindhu .. aap 'khaali haath' nahein, medal leke wapas aa rahein hain .. aur hum aapke saath 'selfie' nikalne chahate hain !! Never ever underestimate power of female gender ! #PVSindhu you have destroyed so many 'naysayers' .. you are the PRIDE of INDIA! #PVSindhu .aapne 'bolne walon' ki bolti bund kar di ..
