Germany: Knife attack in Hamburg supermarket kills one

One person was killed and several other injured after an attacker stabbed people in a supermarket in Hamburg on Friday, the city police said.

"#Barmbek : A criminal attacked several people in a supermarket & injured. One person died.(sic)," the Hamburg Police tweeted.

According to some media reports, the man ran into a supermarket in the Barmbek neighbourhood and attacked customers with a knife at around 3 p.m. local time.
