A software engineer intern can earn an average monthly salary of 6,763 dollars in 2013 in Google.
According to Glassdoor, a site that measures salary positions, said that on an average interns working in the Internet giant earn about 5,800 dollars monthly.
While engineers are paid the most in the company, lower-paying jobs include ad selling and marketing, the New York Daily News reports.
Scott Dobroski, a corporate communications manager at Glassdoor, said that it is not surprising that interns at a company like Google are getting paid so handsomely, adding that the war for tech talent continues to rage on.
If Google sends a rejection letter, Glassdoor reported that software engineers at Microsoft and Amazon pay competitive salaries as well, the report added.
