Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Siddharth Nath Singh on Saturday said the BJP-led NDA Government knows how to walk the talk on One Rank, One Pension (OROP) and many other issues.
"On OROP and many other issues, this is the Government which knows how to walk the talk," Singh told ANI.
"It is an important commitment of the BJP during the election in our manifesto. It was something which the Government has pushed the envelope to fulfill this commitment. We are hopeful that it will be announced very soon," he added.
The OROP scheme has been a long-standing demand of nearly three million ex-servicemen and war widows in the country.
The long awaited announcement on the OROP scheme is likely to be made today by the Narendra Modi led-Government.
