Hagel credits Jaswant Singh for transforming Indo-U.S ties

Visiting United States (U.S) Defence Secretary, Chuck Hagel today praised former external affairs minister, Jaswant Singh, for transforming Indo-U.S bilateral ties.

"Jaswant Singh is one of India's most distinguished soldier statesmen. He transformed India-US relations," said Hagel in a press conference

On Thursday Jaswant Singh-former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran leader was admitted here at the Army Research and Referral Hospital, and is said to be in critical condition.

The former union minister reportedly slipped and grievously injured his head.
