Vice President M. Hamid Ansari has extended his warm greetings and good wishes to all citizens of the country on the auspicious occasion of the 67th Independence Day.
In his message, he said that on this day, as we celebrate with pride our national achievements since independence, we remember with deep gratitude the valued contributions of our founding fathers and pay respectful homage to all those who fought for our precious freedom and thereafter contributed to preserve it.
"On this auspicious occasion, let us solemnly resolve to unite as one people and work collectively towards building a modern, developed and progressive nation," he added.
