Formula one star Lewis Hamilton has vowed to put his emotional pain aside to focus on the German Grand Prix, after splitting with Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger, who was with him for five years.
According to The Sun, Hamilton had enjoyed the season so far more than last year and was looking forward to the race.
However, F1 aces had earlier threatened to boycott Sunday's race if there was a repeat of the dangerous tyre explosions which rocked the British Grand Prix, with Pirelli promising to bring new bulletproof tyres for the race, the report said.
The Mercedes star said that Silverstone was one of the best weekends he has had in terms of being given time to prepare and he was not using as much energy as he had in the past, adding that there was still a long way to go in the season and his team was fighting for good results.
