Cold winds and heavy rains lashed parts of the national capital on Friday, bringing the mercury down by several notches.
The maximum and minimum temperature in the city will remain around 32 and 21 degrees Celsius today.
The Met department attributed the downpour to western disturbances and added that the weather is likely to remain the same tomorrow.
Besides Delhi, thunderstorms have also been predicted in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan
Meanhwile, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh may witness heavy rain and snowfall in certain places.
