Justin Bieber is taking a break from music to spread the word of God.

The 20-year-old singer is on a self-proclaimed "religious mission," and will be staying in Rancho Mirage outside Palm Springs for 2 weeks with a pastor, exiling himself from friends, alcohol, weed and other things that aren't considered good by the holy lord, TMZ.com reported.

In a picture, Bieber, who was baptized in a NYC bathtub earlier this summer, is seen with a book by his side titled 'Occupy All Streets,' which teaches how to spread the word of God and resist bad temptations.
