Gwyneth Paltrow's resume was reportedly rejected by Yahoo's CEO, Marissa Mayer, as a food contributing editor because she didn't have a degree.
The 'Times' wrote that although Paltrow had created a best-selling cookbook and popular lifestyle blog, Mayer, who habitually asked deputies where they attended college, balked at hiring her as a contributing editor for Yahoo Food, E! Online reported.
However, the 42-year-old actress did in fact attended college, at the University of California at Santa Barbara in order to study anthropology, but later on dropped out to pursue an acting career.
On the other hand, Paltrow's rep stated that she never met with anyone from Yahoo about the possibility of working together.
