Hillary Clinton has revealed how she deals with jet lags.

The former Secretary of State said that when she had to stay awake during meetings or conference calls, she drank copious cups of coffee and tea, and sometimes dug the fingernails of one hand into the palm of the other, CBS News reported.

She said that it was the only way she knew how to cope with the crazy schedule and the fierce jet lag.

While speaking about her daughter Chelsea's wedding, she said she had been looking forward to for thirty years and as a mother of the bride, she was delighted to help in every way, including reviewing photographs of flower arrangements from the road and making time for tastings and dress selections back home.

Clinton added that she felt lucky that her job had prepared her for the elaborate diplomacy required helping plan a big wedding, and that her husband Bill Clinton was as emotional as she was.
