An Australian kayaker's iPhone reportedly survived after spending 82 days under water.
Dave McGregor hadn't attached his Apple iPhone 4 well to his kayak before heading to the sea to record his paddling adventures and the device eventually fell off in the deep waters.
According to Cnet, it was only after spending 82 days beneath the sea that the iPhone washed up on the beach, where an honest, regular beach walker discovered the phone and charged it up before calling McGregor's dad.
As McGregor's phone was covered by a waterproof Optrix case, it kept recording a cool footage of two hours about the phone falling to the ocean floor and then mostly blackness before the battery died.
