An assistant dance teacher of Chaitanya Techno School was held in Hyderabad's Rachakonda on Sunday for allegedly thrashing class fourth students for not following his instructions.
Saroornagar police station's Senior Inspector of Police (SIP) Jai Ram said, "We received a complaint from a student's uncle stating on January 4 the assistant dance teacher thrashed his child along with other students for not following dance steps and instructions."
In a video which is viral on social media, the students were found saying in a viral video that the dance teacher was teaching the same set of steps for hours. And when they did not follow his orders, the teacher slapped all of the students.
The police have registered a case under relevant Sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and taken the accused into custody. Today, the accused teacher will be sent to judicial remand.
