Dominic Cooper has said that the upcoming biopic on Ian Fleming will be sensationalized.
The 'Mamma Mia!' star, who will play the creator of James Bond in the new biopic series 'Fleming' alongside Lara Pulver, said that the writers have taken "huge liberties" in retelling Fleming's wartime heroics by highlighting the more sensational accounts, Contactmusic reported.
Cooper said that everything is based on something real, but they have sexed it up at times and if the other versions of the biography are considered, Fleming was deskbound and doesn't create great drama.
He added that the author didn't have any fisticuffs with Nazis, but it felt like it would be better if he did.
