Ian Fleming's sexual escapades revealed

Ian Fleming, the author of the iconic British spy James Bond, was also known to be a serial womaniser who loved adventure - similar to his creation 007.

In 1935, Fleming met Muriel Wright, a society model, and started dating her, but during that time he was involved with other women too, the Daily Express reported.

Shortly before the Second World War commenced, Fleming engaged in a one-night stand on a train with Diana Napier, who was the wife of the famous opera singer Richard Tauber, after he had bribed the attendant to let him inside her carriage.

One of Fleming's most enduring affairs was with Ann Charteris, while she was still the Baron O'Neill's wife.

Charteris and Fleming soon married after she divorced her husband, but they continued to have affairs, even after the birth of their son Caspar.

Among Fleming's other lovers were Millicent Rogers, an American oil heiress and fashion icon, and Blanche Blackwell, a society beauty.

It has also been claimed that Fleming was also in a relationship with Christine Granville, the daughter of a Polish aristocrat who spied for Britain during the WWII, and who was killed by a former lover in 1952.
