Idris Elba may star in Guy Ritchie's 'King Arthur'

Idris Elba may sign up for Warner Bros.' new take on the English myth which will be directed by Guy Ritchie, 'Knights of the Roundtable

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Elba will play Bedivere, Arthur's father's right-hand man, who teaches Arthur how to lead an army, in the film which will reunite him with the director of London-set crime movie RocknRolla.

The script of the film which is a reimagining of the story of King Arthur and his legendary knights of the kingdom of Camelot is written by Joby Harold and will be produced by Lionel Wigram, Akiva Goldsman, Tory Tunnell and Harold.
