Manchester United suffered a shocking 0-3 defeat at the hands of Arsenal in their Premier League clash, thus moving down to the third spot in the standings.
Forward Alexis Sanchez put Arsenal ahead in the 6th minute with a back-heel flick at the near post before midfielder Mesut Ozil doubled the lead just a minute later, the Guardian reported.
Sanchez smacked the third goal for his side in the 19th minute and helped his side to beat United for the second time in 14 league meetings.
Arsenal, now have 16 points in the eight games they have played so far and have secured second place in the standings.
Arsenal will next lock horns with Watford while United will play against Everton in their respective Premier League clash.
