Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's helicopter faced turbulence due to gusty winds yesterday when his wife Reham Khan, party leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Jahangir Tareen were on board.
According to the Dawn, Khan tweeted that he was "grateful to Allah for a safe landing" of the helicopter.
Khan spoke extensively about party position on Judicial Commission's proceedings and intra-party politics at PTI Lahore district organiser Shafqat Mahmood's office after landing in Lahore.
Later, Khan attended Namal University function at a local hotel before Iftar.
Khan's political adviser Ejaz Chaudhry said he was surprised after seeing the tweet and added that Khan was with party leaders for over an hour before attending two functions but never spoke of the turbulent flight.
Khan's tweet came after he left from the two functions.
