Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay on Thursday asserted that the increase of Value Added Tax (VAT) by the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi has exposed the dual face of the party.
"This once again exposes the dual face of AAP Government. Delhi government did not bring any provision of VAT in the budget. They have presented the people of Delhi the gift of inflation. This government has totally failed to govern," Upadhyay told ANI here.
"The amount of money they spent on advertisements could have been used for the betterment of the people of Delhi," he added.
On Wednesday, petrol prices increased in the national capital by Rs 2.78 per litre and diesel by Rs 1.83 as the AAP government raised Value Added Tax (VAT) on them.
