The Indian football team continued to pain grim picture as they are languishing down at 155th in the latest FIFA rankings, while World Cup finalist Argentina holding the top spot.
According to the rankings, India have climbed one place from their previous position of 156 under the guidance of coach Stephen Constantine.
Earlier in July, India had dropped 15 places in the rankings after losing the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Oman and lowly ranked Guam.
India will next face Iran in a World Cup qualifier in Bengaluru on September 8.
Meanwhile, Belgium continue to maintain the second spot ahead of world champions Germany.
Five-time world champions Brazil are fifth, one place below Colombia in the list.
