India will today face arch rival Pakistan in the final of the fourth Asian Champions Trophy Hockey tournament here.
The Men in Blue stormed into the finals after beating South Korea 5-4 in the penalty shootout whereas Pakistan entered the title clash beating Malaysia in the second semi-final.
Earlier, both India and South Korea were locked 2-2 at the end of regulation time in the first semi-final Saturday evening.
Talwinder Singh and Ramandeep Singh made it 2-2 for India during the regulation time. In the shootout, Sardar Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Rupinder Pal Singh and Akashdeep Singh scored the first four attempts.
Later, a penalty stroke was converted by Rupinder Pal Singh to give India all five successful strikes in the shootout.
This is India's third entry into the final of the Asian Champions Trophy, having won its inaugural edition in 2011 and were runners up to Pakistan in 2012.
