Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India and the United States of America are bound together by history and culture as there are many similarities between the two countries.
"There are many similarities between India and America. America has people from around the world and there is an Indian in every part of the world. Our ties have deepened; India and the US are bound together by history and culture," said Prime Minister Modi.
In an interview with CNN, the Prime Minister said that the relations between India and the US should not be seen to as existing just between Delhi and Washington, adding that it is much deeper than that.
The Prime Minister will be visiting the US later this month.
